Letter to Henry L. Abbot, circa 1896.

The collection consists of an undated letter from D.C. Gilman in North East Harbor, Maine, to General Henry L. Abbot (1831-1927), who was a Union soldier and engineer. Gilman states that he is Commissioner of Juries for the Atlanta (Ga.) Exhibition and asks Abbot to be one of the select jury to judge the exhibits.
